Onboarding checklist explained
An onboarding checklist breaks getting started into three to five meaningful actions, such as connecting data, creating a first project or inviting a teammate. Users see their progress and can complete tasks in any order.
Checklists tend to outperform long product tours because they give users control and a sense of momentum. Each item should move the user closer to activation.
Example: Complete your profile, connect a data source, create a report from a template, invite a teammate, share your first report.
