In-app guidance explained
In-app guidance delivers help in context: on the screen, next to the button or field a user is working with. It reduces the gap between learning and doing, because people get instructions exactly when they need them.
Common forms include walkthroughs, tooltips, hotspots, modals, banners and checklists. In-app guidance can be built natively by a product team or created with a digital adoption platform or product onboarding tool.
